| UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY |
Dr Chuck Staben (Associate Vice President for Research) serves as the Lead for the University of Kentucky. Dr. Staben developed a 1500 ft2 laboratory space for the KBRIN Bioinformatics Center at UK. This space is currently served by the Internet 2 network. The Center houses a flexible, interactive group forming the core of the UK bioinformatics effort. This space is intended to be the "bioinformatics nerve center" for UK and for its relation to the KBRIN-affiliated institutions. The Bioniformatics Coordinator for the Center is Rochelle Clinton.
The Beowulf computing cluster and its services can be accessed at http://kybrin.louisville.edu/. Contact Dr. Eric Rouchka for obtaining access.
